Australian Masters Athletics Championships 2026 – Canberra, ACT 6–9 March 2026
ACT Masters Athletics is proud to host the 2026 Australian Masters Athletics Championships in Canberra, Australia’s vibrant capital city.
This exciting national event will bring together athletes aged 30 and over from across the country—and beyond—for four days of spirited competition, community, and celebration of lifelong fitness. The championships are open to all athletes registered with a World Masters Athletics-recognised Masters athletics club or association. Whether you're competing for a personal best, a podium finish, or the sheer love of the sport, this event promises to be a highlight on the Masters calendar.
Held from 6–9 March 2026, the championships will showcase a full program of events, including track and field, cross country, and road walking,
This year’s championships will be held across three fabulous venues:These venues provide the perfect blend of elite facilities and picturesque surroundings to support your best performances.
🏟️ Day 1 and Day 2 at the world-class Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), Leverrier Street, Bruce ACT 2617
🏟️ Day 3 and Day 4 at the outstanding Woden Park Athletics Track, Ainsworth Street, Phillip ACT 2606
🌳 Cross Country and Road Events at the scenic Stromlo Forest Park, Dave McInnes Road, Stromlo ACT 2611

PRICES
Early Bird Entry Admin Fee: $80.00 from opening
Closing Date: Midnight 17th December 2026
Admin Fee after the Early Bird Finishes $110 from 18th December 2025 to January 28th 2026
Event Fees: $20 per event except Throws Pentathlon & Outdoor Pentathlon events which will be $25
Entries Close Date : Midnight 28th January 2026

Refunds
All requests for refunds must be made in writing to Canberra2026@gmail.com prior to the closing date for entries - 28th January 2026. Refunds less an administration fee of $TBC will only be issued when an injury or medical condition prohibits you from competing (a medical certificate must be provided).
