29th AMA Winter Throws Championships

Saturday October 4th - Monday October 6th, 2025

Location: Domain Athletics Centre, Hobart

Meet Costs: $50 admin fee and $12 per single event or $30 per pentathlon. No late entries will be accepted.

Uniforms: Wearing of State Uniforms is  compulsory.

Social Function:  A partly subsidised Social Function will be held on day one - Saturday 5th October commencing at 4pm in the Javelin Room at QSAC. We are hoping for as many as possible to attend this gathering.

Merchandise:  Winter Throws Merchandise will be available to order on the QMA web site after 14th August 2024

HEAVY WEIGHT PENTATHLON - an Australian Championship Event

This is the one event at the Winter Throws which is an Australian Championships Event and Australian Masters Athletics supplies the medals. The HWP officially became an Australian Championship  for the Winter Throws in 2023. This is the one event not to miss.

Refunds

When cancellation is received prior to the stated closing date (Sep ??), the entry fees are refundable, but NOT the Administration Fee. After the closing date, no fees are refundable. The LOC has the prerogative to make exceptions on compassionate grounds (not injury). Email contact for this event is:TBA
