30th AMA Winter Throws Championships
Saturday June 6th - Monday June 8th, 2026
Location: Domain Athletics Centre, Hobart
Meet Costs: $50 admin fee and $12 per single event or $30 per pentathlon. No late entries will be accepted.
Uniforms: Wearing of State Uniforms is compulsory when competing in the Australian Heavy Weight Pentathlon Championship event.
Social Function: TBA.

HEAVY WEIGHT PENTATHLON - an Australian Championship Event
This is the one event at the Winter Throws which is an Australian Championships Event and Australian Masters Athletics supplies the medals. The HWP officially became an Australian Championship for the Winter Throws in 2023. This is the one event not to miss.
Refunds
When cancellation is received prior to the stated closing date (May 24), the entry fees are refundable, but NOT the Administration Fee. After the closing date, no fees are refundable. The LOC has the prerogative to make exceptions on compassionate grounds (not injury).
