Event entry general Information

  • ·      Event is open to all athletes aged 30 years and over. Competition is in 5 year age groups for women & men, starting at ages 30-34.
  • ·      Medal placings will be awarded to the top three placegetters in each age group to all Victorian athletes. Likewise, medals also to be awarded to athletes competing “by invitation”.  There will also be medals for the
  •         (i)  best &

  •        This event will have a full complement of paid officials. All recorded performances for both individual events and the overall Pentathlon are     recognized for setting of records.
  • ·      The cost of entry to the event is $20, which covers all five Pentathlon events. In addition there is a $ 10 admin. fee the help offset the cost of paid officials and the venue hire.
  •        This year there will be no paid helpers. It is expected that most competitors will be able to nominate a family member or friend who can help on the day.  These people will "travel with the group" of the person completing.  The event organiser will contact each event entrant regarding nomination of a helper.  It is not a condition of entry that you must nominate a helper.  But without helpers the event cannot take place so in this regard it is hoped that all athletes understand this and that most will be able to nominate a helper, who as stated will also get to see them complete in all events.
