2026 AMA Cross Country Short Course Championships Registration

2026 National Cross Country Short Course Championships (Masters)

The event is conducted by Australian Athletics in conjunction with Australian Masters Athletics.

Location: Victoria Park, Ballarat, Victoria

State Masters Association Uniform to be worn for this event.

Individual Run

The masters male and female distance is 4 km. A time estimate will be required and the cut-off time is 36 minutes. The event entry fee for the individual run is $65 plus system processing fee. See the AA Event Page with timetable and technical regulations.

Mixed Relay

The Australian Athletics Cross Country Relays are a chance for everyone to compete at the National Championships! Bring together your run club, friends and teammates for a fast 2k cross country leg. 

• Teams must enter via the AA entry portal. Each team selects a Team Captain who will enter the team and pay the entry fee.
• Masters age groups for the relays are: 40+, 50+ and 60+
• If you want to do a relay and do not have a team organised, you can contact the Team Manager who will assist in getting teams put together. This MUST happen well before entries close on August 4.

Refunds

Refund less small fee ($5) if before the close of entries.If after close of entries no refund as AA will not give us a refund once entries are submitted.
