Gosford Athletics Club Throwers Night

Events will be conducted at ANSW Permit (athletes can qualify for nationals) and non permit levels.

When: Tuesday 16th March, 2021

Where: Adcock Park West Gosford

Time: Sign on will be from 5:30 pm, with competition starting at 6:00pm.

Permit Entry

Discus and Shot Put.  Entry fee of $10 (payable on the night) includes 1 or 2 events.  Athletes will be allowed 6 throws in each event. Available to Open, Concession and Dual members of ANSW. This section is run by accredited officials and national qualifiers can be obtained. Wearing of club uniform compulsory with ANSW numbers (if numbers have been collected) is also compulsory.  Permit meet is open to U12 and up. Available spots are limited to 20 per event.

Non permit entry

Discus and Shot Put. Entry fee of $5 (payable on the night) for 1 or 2 events  This section is run by volunteers and no national qualifiers can be obtained. So if you are looking for a relaxed practice competition enter the non permit event. Available to Open, Concession, dual and Community members. Wearing of Club uniform is encouraged.  Non permit meet is U14 and up.

Timetable:

• Permit Meet Shot 6pm, Discus 7:15pm.
• Non Permit Meet Discus 6:30pm & Shot 7:15pm.
