Victorian Masters 30+ 2026 3000m Track Championship

Sunday May 3rd 2026 at Duncan Mackinnon Reserve, Murrumbeena (report in by 9.00 am for 9.30 am start - for Race 1)

Note: the event will be followed by lunch at 12:30pm then the Victorian Masters Athletics AGM

The 2026 3000m Track Championship is another event in VMA’s Masters 30+ events series.  

To enter you need to be 30+ years of age and be a Masters’ affiliated athlete. Interstate and Overseas athletes are welcome to compete by invitation.  Any non-masters affiliated athlete will be required to join Victorian Masters Athletics (VMA) – for the special new member cost of just $25 prior to entering the event . This can be done at: https://emlsports.com/registration/vma-membership-2025.  VMA membership allows an athlete to participate in any VMA activity throughout 2026. 

VMA’s digital lap counting technology will be used at this event and personal lap scorers will not be required.  Post the race athletes will also receive their individual 400m split times. Medals will be awarded for the 1st,2nd,3rd placegetters in each 5 year age group, for Women and Men, from 30 years and upwards. 

All athletes are to wear their 30+ Team / Club / Venue competition tops for this event.

Event entry cost: $20 which comprises: $15 Event entry fee + $5 Admin (officials) fee. Entries close 10:00pm Monday, April 27th. No entries will be accepted after the entries close date or on the day. Refunds will be given up until the Friday before competition in the event of injury or unforeseen personal circumstances that arise.
