Victorian Masters 30+ 8/6km CC Championship

Sunday May 24th, 2026

  6km for 70 plus age groups

Location: George Knott Reserve, Heidelberg Road Clifton Hill [Melways 30 F12]

Sign in by:  8:30am at club rooms, George Knott Reserve Heidelberg Road Clifton Hill

Start: 9:00am 

        

Includes the inter-venue Browne Shield competition

      

In 2026 the 6/8km Cross Country Championship is the first event of the five events in the

winter series of the Inter venue Browne Shield competition.  This competition also includes

awards for the most consistent & most improved athletes based on the age graded

percentages for both male and female athletes.   You need to compete in at least FOUR of

the five events to be eligible for these awards.    

   

The five events are: 1. 6/8km Cross Country – May 24th; 2. 10,000m Track, Casey Cardinia –

June 21st; 3. 10km Road, Braeside Park – July 19th; 4.  10 Mile Road, Knox – August 2nd; 5. Half Marathon, TBA.

    

To enter you need to be 30+years of age and be a Masters’ affiliated athlete.

VMA members: enter using link sent in event email sent to all VMA members the day that event entry opened =April 3rd, 2026.

 

Interstate and Overseas athletes: are welcome to compete by invitation.  Any non-masters affiliated athlete will be required to join Victorian Masters Athletics (VMA) – for the special new member cost of just $15 prior ($15 event entry + $5admin/officials) to entering the event. VMA membership will allow you to participate in any VMA activity throughout 2026.

All athletes are to wear their30+ Team / Venue competition tops in line with recent VMA State Championships & Track & Field Pentathlon.

Refunds

Refunds will be given up until the Friday before competition in the event of injury or unforeseen personal circumstances.
