Victorian Masters 30+ 10,000m Track Championship 

'The Browne Shield' - Race 2: Sunday 21st June 2026

at Casey Fields Athletic Track, 160 Berwick-Cranbourne Road Cranbourne East

(Check in 8:30am for Heat 1  9:00am followed by remaining heats )

      

The 10,000m Track Championship is the second event of the five events in the winter series of the VMA 30+ 'Browne Shield' competition.  This competition also includes awards for the "most consistent" and "most improved" athlete based on the age graded percentages for both male and female athletes.   You need to compete in at least FOUR of the five events to be eligible for these awards.    

   

The five events are:   6/8km Collingwood Cross Country (24/5),  10,000m Casey Track (21/6), 10km Road Braeside Park (19/7), 10 Mile Road Knox (02/08) and the half Marathon (various/events)

    

To enter you need to be 30+ years of age and be a Masters’ affiliated athlete. Interstate and Overseas athletes are welcome to compete by invitation.  Any non-masters affiliated athlete will be required to join Victorian Masters Athletics (VMA) – for the special new member cost of just $25 prior to entering the event . This can be done at: https://emlsports.com/registration/vma-membership-2026-e93d9  VMA membership  will allow you to participate in any  VMA activity throughout 2026. 

All athletes are to wear their 30+ Team / Venue competition tops in line with recent VMA State Championships and Track & Field Pentathlon.

Event entry: $15, Officials fee $5. Entries close Monday 15thJune 8pm

No entries will be accepted after the entries close date or on the day.

Refunds

Refunds will be given up until the Friday before competition in the event of injury or unforeseen personal circumstances.
