This calculator is based on the approved new WMA Age Grading Tables for 2023. They cover single year ages from 30 to 110. The grading factors are from the work of World Masters Athletics not EML Sports. We just built a form to make them easier to use.

Factor set: 2023

For times, use seconds, m:ss or h:mm:ss with up to two decimal places, such as 10.49, 3:50.07 or 2:14:04. For jumps and throws, enter metres with up to two decimal places, such as 6.50.

The WMA factor modifies a performance for the athlete's age and gender to estimate an equivalent open-age performance.

The age-graded percentage compares that performance against the open standard in the selected factor set. A standard may differ from the current world record.

This calculator uses the bundled 2023 factors. The 2000m uses mile factors as an approximation; road 10K is unavailable in this set.
