Registrations for the 2016 AMA Winter Throws to be held October 1st to 3rd in Wollongong NSW are now open. This year marks the 21st holding of the winter throws. The meet is being run by Athletics Wollongong and NSW Masters Athletics.
At this time entry is available to all the usual throwing and pentathlon throwing events and including 2 special demonstration events of weight for distance and weight for height which are based on Highland Games events. A championship dinner will also be held and details and purchase of tickets will come soon.
Entries close on September 24th.
